A practice-based residency researching and documenting the Illinois industrial landscapes, along with seminars and tutorials with upper level undergraduates and postgraduate students
2005 – 06 DCF Vickers Art Award 2005/06
A year-long exploration of the rural and urban industrial Landscapes of Derbyshire, including construction and industrial sites at Rolls-Royce and quarries and mines. The project also funded workshops with schools and concluded with solo exhibitions at Derby Museum & Art Gallery and Buxton Museum & Art Gallery

2000 Year of the Artist Residency at Tower Hamlets Central & Local History Library, London
A photographic and social history research project investigating buildings and objects of architectural and historical significance in Tower Hamlets, as well as building an oral archive of memories of buildings, and running workshops for schools. The residency concluded with an exhibition of photography, archive and sound

2013 Acme Studios 40th Anniversary Commission – to create a new work responding to new site in Purfleet
2007 Mural Design Commission – For Rolls-Royce plc. To design two very large-scale (14 x 15m and 20 x 10m) publicly sited exterior murals.
2006 ‘The Imposition’, 190 x 160cms, commission by Nottingham Castle Museum & Art Gallery, to produce a new painting for the permanent collection responding to the renovations and architectural transitions at Wollaton Hall, a Tudor mansion and Natural History Museum belonging to the city of Nottingham. Now on permanent display in the Museum’s Long Gallery
2006 Wirksworth Art Festival, commission to produce a series of drawings for the permanent collection.
2004 Photographic Mapping Commission, for General Public Agency. To research and photograph Tilbury, Essex, as part of ‘Thurrock: A Visionary Brief in the Thames Gateway’ (a culture-led architectural framework for the development of new housing and communities in the Thames Gateway). Using new photographs, archive images, and written text, this project formed published document.
